Techniques used to attract my attention in this commercial were all the sound effects, the bubbles flying everywhere, and the pretty girl in the swimsuit. A male would understand this message as women that drink Diet Coke are more attractive that women who dont. A women would understand this message as Diet Coke being more important than make-up. I understand this message as women that drink Diet Coke have a chance of being more hotter than other women. Through this commerical the lifestyle of being fit is represented. You might see an ad of Diet Coke in a gym magazine. Mainly this message is being sent to women to tell them that you can lose weight by drinking delicious Diet Coke.
My opinion Diet Coke is the perfect drink for women because they are always trying to attract men. Men seem not to care about their appearance as much as women do. There is no better way for women to attract men than by losing weight and looking fit. The Diet Coke product made lots of money of women. Women want to look like the girl from this commerical, and have all the men chasing her. Diet Coke is definitely a product made special for women to lose weight and attract men. The stereotype that Diet Coke is for women is correct. I rarely see men drinking Diet Coke they are always drinking regular Coke. The can by itself is made to have a feminine look. The can is light silver with a touch of red.
